Over the past several weeks, we were encouraged to set modest expectations for our initial outreach efforts. But the reality has been very different.
The interest, goodwill, and support for Algiplex have grown so quickly that we concluded this outreach phase earlier than planned - a milestone we did not expect to reach so soon.
Throughout this process, we have been met with remarkable kindness and generosity from people around the world. Scientists, engineers, farmers, founders, and ecosystem partners have shared their time, their insights, and their belief in our mission. We are genuinely grateful, and we will not forget it.
We would especially like to thank our collaborators across Kenya, Rwanda, Tunisia, the UK, and our wider global community. Your perspectives and the challenges you face directly shape our technology. You strengthen our resolve to build systems that work for diverse environments and real-world constraints.
To fellow innovators pursuing ambitious ideas: don’t let anyone box you in. Progress often begins with goals that seem unrealistic - right up until the moment they aren’t.

Algiplex Joins the European Algae Biomass Association (EABA)
November 2025
We’re incredibly honoured to share that Algiplex has been accepted as a member of the European Algae Biomass Association (EABA). This means a great deal to us. EABA is a community of scientists, innovators, companies, and policymakers who have been shaping the algae sector in Europe for years.
Membership isn’t automatic, applications are reviewed by the Steering Board, so being welcomed in at this early stage is something we’re truly grateful for. For a young, emerging company like ours, it’s both a milestone and a responsibility. We’re excited to learn from this community, contribute where we can, and grow alongside people who care deeply about advancing algae biotechnology and sustainable production.
Thank you to the EABA community for the trust and warm welcome. We’re looking forward to engaging with the community, sharing our progress, and supporting the broader mission of strengthening the algae sector across Europe and beyond.
Algiplex Reaches a Major Milestone
October 2025
At the start of October, Algiplex launched its first outreach campaign. By the end of the month, we had already received our first signed Letters of Intent (LOIs). This marks an exciting step forward in our journey, these commitments open the door to collaborations that will help bring our ecosystem technology closer to real-world deployment.
What means the most to us is the incredible kindness and encouragement we’ve received along the way. We feel humbled and deeply grateful for the trust placed in us, and it motivates us every day to keep building. This is just the beginning, and we look forward to sharing more as things progress.
Algiplex Launches Farmer Survey on Algae Production Challenges
October 2025
As we develop our anchored ecosystem bag prototypes, Algiplex is gathering insights directly from algae farmers worldwide. Our short survey (under 5 minutes) is designed to identify the most pressing challenges in production cycles and ensure our technology is built around real industry needs. Farmers who participate can also express interest in becoming pilot partners (with an early adopter discount) or signing non-binding Letters of Intent (LOIs).
Your input will help us build solutions that strengthen algae farming and accelerate a sustainable future.

We’re proud to announce that Algiplex has been selected for the 5050 UK Fellowship, run by Fifty Years, a mission-driven venture capital fund supporting founders tackling the world’s most urgent problems. This support recognises both the scientific foundations of our work and its global potential impact on sustainable algae farming.
